31' Low Profile Work Boat

Purpose-built to support tanker mooring operations in Valdez, Alaska, this vessel was specifically designed for deploying oil containment boom. To enhance maneuverability around and beneath dock structures, the deckhouse is recessed into the deck, minimizing the vessel’s overall height. Its compact profile and functional design make it ideal for tight working spaces while maintaining full operational capability.

After 25 years of continued service Rozema Boat works will be constructing a next generation replacement for these vessels. This next new design will include updated capabilities and improvements to further tailor the vessel for its specific tasks at the Valdez oil terminal. With an added A frame for picking up anchors, heavier construction, modern engines with increased efficiency, and other many small improvements will streamline the duties and increase the capabilities of an already solid platform.
